- Gemini Home Improvement did an excellent job rebuilding my front porch & installing a new kitchen ceiling and center fan. I am very happy with the quality of their work. Gemini was interested in the end result just as much as I was. Because of the original construction of the front porch there were problems which unfortunately no one could have foreseen until it's disassembly. However, Gemini stood by me every step of the way to correct the problems and then finished the project as promised. The crew's attention to the quality of their work was impressive. They were on time every day & cleaned up the work areas well. A few weeks ago Gemini did a great job of replacing my entire rooftop. I am still getting compliments from my neighbors and visitors. - Ralph and Pedro and the crew were the only contractors we contacted . who seemed to care more about repairing our leak and fixing our roof properly than about what the insurance would pay. They arrived at daylight and worked until dark to stabilize our repair before the next storm. They kept us informed at every step, and cleaned up EVERYTHING at the end. - We just had our roof replaced by Gemini Home Improvement, and I can say unequivocally that the experience was excellent. Pete and his crew not only did a great job, but they made quick work of the job as well. From start to finish Pete Correia made the experience very simple for us and he was always available to answer questions or concerns. Having your roof replaced certainly isn’t cheap, but Gemini Home Improvement’s price was very reasonable and competitive when compared to the other companies we looked at. We hope not to be replacing any more roofs anytime soon, but if and when we do we wouldn’t hesitate to work with Gemini Home Improvement again. - I highly recommend Gemini Home Improvement. They removed several layers of old roofing and installed new shingles for my older home. I received an estimate right away and was able to schedule the job within two weeks. The crew arrived on time and did a great job cleaning up; they finished the job in a day and a half. - My husband and I recently bought our first home--a 1945 fixer-upper with great bones but a lot of work to do. Thanks to the suggestion of our Realtor, Kathy Souza, we were able to have Gemini's awesome owner, Pedro Correia, join us for the home inspection and help us assess and prioritize the work to be done. Pedro's team put gorgeous new vinyl siding on our house for a good price and an impeccable commitment to quality. We also had them strip out the dated popcorn ceilings and refinish some of the floors. Everything looks amazing, and was all done within the timeframe and budget we agreed to. The siding color Pedro recommended is the envy of the neighborhood! Home repair and renovation is an area in which my husband and I are admittedly pretty naive, and what we really appreciated about Pedro and his team was the integrity with which they operated. Issues that we didn't know to ask about they identified and addressed at no extra cost: for example, when the window siding renovation revealed a need for some extra insulating panels, Pedro noticed this and had his team put these in. We felt very well looked after! We wholeheartedly recommend Gemini Home Improvement and will use them for the many future renovations we have planned. - It was so easy and such a pleasure working with this company. I was put on hold with a loan for my roofing but as soon as I was ready they ordered my shingles set up a date for their workers to come and helped me choose the best shingles for my house in the meantime. The men who did the job worked hard and fast in the cold and were pretty much finished in one day and it was a big job. - Our experience with Gemini Home Improvement, and more specifically with Pedro was extremely positive. Our roof was severely damaged during a wind storm. We called Pedro for a quote (he had recently replaced 2 roofs nearby). He was prompt with providing a quote which we felt was reasonable. When Pedro heard that my moms roof was damaged down to the wood in 1 of our early March storms and more snow was coming in a couple days, he was there within an hour and patched it up right on the spot. - My wife and I purchased our first home as a married couple. We took out a 203k loan to do some extensive work to the house. We had multiple bids from multiple general contractors. Pedro came referred from a childhood friend along with knowledge of 203k loans. Choosing Gemini was the best thing we did besides buy this house. From start to finish the owner was right there. He treated our home as it was his own. His pricing was reasonable and we felt like we got more than we paid for. Since completing our remodel, we have hired Pedro to do additional projects along with emergency calls. Our next big project will be either this year or next year and we plan to just hire Pedro. He has gained our trust by being honest and fair and it is not worth looking around. Bottom line, you would be foolish to pass by this contractor. Update 1/18/18 - if the above hasn’t made you call Gemini well this update should. One year later and we still use and love Gemini. No projects has been too small or too big. Pedro even does work in our condo. We recently had a tree fall on our house. One call to pedro and he was right there to make sure the house was safe and not exposed to the element. The repair work was done quickly and you would never know a tree fell on the house. The list of stuff he has done for us is endless. If I were you and you are debating calling him, you better call and get him booked. - We have never worked with a contractor as kind and caring as Pedro and his crew. My mom had problems with her 40 yr old siding on her home. During weather events with high winds last spring, several large pieces had fallen off. Other issues we had not noticed such as a section of leaky gutter and improper pitch made for areas of hidden rot. On the first walk through for a free estimate Pedro met when my husband and the insurance agent could meet us all.. The insurance agent along with my husband a son of a late construction CO owner were impressed with Pedro's assessment of problems he pointed out along with the cause and how he would proceed if given the job. Every step along the way was discussed with my mom and me. Thing's like the dumpster arrival date, materials and start date along with completion date. Each day Pedro's to do list was reviewed and each night he would complete a walk through with us. When the work was fully completed we all loved the design to the window wrapping,the correction of the pitch of the new gutters and the gutter guards to keep out foliage and debris. My husband was thrilled he no longer needed to climb the old latter to clean clogs twice a year. As far as the actual installers, they put in 8 to 10 hours daily in the summer heat of 2017. - Everything about my experience with Gemini Home Improvement was beyond my expectations. From the time the phone was answered by Pedro to job completion. They solved a problem with a leak from the vent pipe on my roof (which was installed by a different company) that was causing a stain on my bathroom ceiling. While on my roof he also gave an inspection and did sealing at no extra charge. He noticed my gutters where clogged as I haven't had them cleaned in over 2 years. I asked if he would do it for me and he was back the next day to do it and even texted me before and after pics and took the time to explain what he did. Super prompt, honest and fair price, friendly and clean! I would recommend to anyone who needs home improvement as Pedro and Gemini Home Improvement are top notch. - I shopped around to over 5 different roofing companies and this company had the best price! I thought with the lower price the service might be sub par but absolutely not! Job was completely done in less than 2 days. Completely new roof and left my yard and driveway spotless. Also they noticed rotting wood on my roof which I feel other companies would have taken advantage of and charged crazy $$$. - After several experiences trying to get responses from various siding contractors (without satisfactory results), Gemini was recommended to us by the local Alside siding distributer. I called Pedro, and he was here to discuss our project within the hour. I was very impressed and encouraged by his responses to my various questions.
